Helping Us Grow And Serve

Your Gifts are Investments in Wellness, Dignity and Independence
Pathstone Living - a member of the Ecumen family of senior housing and services - is a non-profit organization dedicated to continuing our lasting tradition of excellence in residential care and community outreach services in Mankato and southern Minnesota. Since 1937, Pathstone Living has been listening, learning and leading in providing housing and services to older adults.

Private support is garnered to sustain the crucial elements Pathstone Living needs to fulfill its mission. Throughout Pathstone Living' history, gifts of all levels have continued to bring additional spiritual and physical comforts to those we serve. Any gift, whether immediate, or deferred, can have special significance when given in memory or in honor of a friend, loved one, or favorite staff member. Gifts to Pathstone Living are investments in wellness, dignity, and independence.

Convenient Ways to Give

Gifts of Cash
This is the easiest way to provide immediate support to Pathstone Living. Contributions of cash can be made by check or credit card and are fully tax-deductible.

Bequests from your Will
Gifts made through a will can be a specific dollar amount, a percentage of an estate or the residual of an estate.

Charitable Gift Annuities
Working with the Ecumen Foundation, Pathstone Living is pleased to assist with establishing charitable gift annuities as a flexible and useful giving option. Charitable gift annuities provide you with income for a lifetime. The remaining assets become available for Pathstone Living's work, according to your wishes.

Gifts of stock and other securities
Contributing long-term appreciated securities provides you with a meaningful way to make an immediate gift to Pathstone Living. Gifts of stock can take advantage of charitable tax deductions and capital gains tax benefits.

Beneficiary Designations
One of the simplest ways to make a significant gift in the future is to name Pathstone Living to receive all or a portion of an insurance policy or retirement account. Your insurance agent or IRA administrator can assist you with the proper designation forms.

Pathstone Living and the Ecumen Foundation can provide donors and prospective donors with a tax analysis of individual gift plans. Confidentiality is assured.

The Heritage Circle

Recognizing the benefactors of today and tomorrow

The Heritage Circle at Pathstone Living was established in 2001 to recognize those individuals who have included Pathstone Living in their estate plans. Heritage Circle members are generous friends who want to provide financial support for future generations.

Membership in the Heritage Circle at Pathstone Living is open to any person that makes a gift or pledge through one of the following ways:

  • A charitable bequest through a will
  • Naming Pathstone Living as beneficiary of an insurance policy, an IRA account, a certificate of deposit, a trust, bonds, savings account or other funds

A life income gift through a charitable gift annuity, an annuity trust, a unitrust or similar planned gift

The Heritage Circle honors those who provide charitable support for Pathstone Living beyond their lifetimes. Heritage Circle members may choose to remain anonymous. Heritage Circle members who allow us to recognize them by name inspire others to follow their examples.
